About us

Fines and Enforcement Services (FES) provides end-to-end management of infringement matters to the Victorian Government and a range of external enforcement agencies. The management and enforcement of infringements is critical to the effective and efficient operation of the criminal justice system in Victoria.

The FES Reform Program aims to provide business stability and continuity for existing FES business services. The FES Reform Program will lead the coordination of a number of interrelated and interdependent projects to implement transformational change across the FES business.

About the role

As the Test Analyst, you will review the FES reform business and document its processes and systems, recommend solutions, act as a liaison amongst stakeholders to enable the business to achieve its goals. In the role, you will:

  • develop test plans and mitigate risks to system quality
  • prepare and execute test scenarios and test cases
  • complete User Acceptance Testing which could incorporate System, Unit and End to End Testing types
  • raise defects from testing execution via the project defect management system
  • identify, define and communicate risks and issues as they arise
  • liaise with key stakeholders and system vendors and develop effective working relationships with technical and non-technical business representatives.

Please note that this is a fixed term until December 31, 2020.

About you

Along with strong problem-solving ability and strong stakeholder management, as our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • demonstrated high level of expertise and experience with best practice test management tools, processes and methodologies
  • strong knowledge of testing theory, methods, techniques and tools, and proven experience of integration testing, system testing and UAT in both Agile and Waterfall Delivery models
  • demonstrated application testing experience with a strong emphasis on custom build solutions, from test planning through to test execution, with demonstrated knowledge of challenges and ICT trends
  • demonstrated experience working in a senior testing role, preparing a range of testing materials such as test plans, test status reports and checklists
  • conceptual thinking and sound analytical approaches to support decision making in the work area.
