Theatre Technician

About the Role

Yarra Ranges Health Day Surgery Unit, situated in Lilydale, is currently seeking suitably experienced Theatre Technicians to join the professional and organised team in the below positions: Permanent, Part Time - 47.50 hours per fortnight

The Unit consists of 2 modern and well equipped theatres within the Yarra Ranges Health site and forms part of the wider Eastern Health Surgical Program. Theatre lists include General, Urology, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology and Plastic surgery.

About you

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technical Support
  • Greater than 36 months’ experience (full time equivalent) as a Theatre Technician 
  • Comprehensive working knowledge/functions of the operating table and associated attachments 
  • Working with Children Check
  • Prepare and maintain all equipment and consumables safely for all Surgical Procedures
