About the Team

The Rolling Stock Development division is focused on the BE The division develops rolling stock procurement strategies, manages all aspects of procurement relating to rolling stock and supporting infrastructure, and develops an asset management strategy.

About the Role

The Tram Maintenance Facility (TMF) Engineering Manager is responsible for establishing, coordinating, delivering, and reporting on the Engineering/Technical aspects of the complex TMF design, construction and commissioning.

We are looking for someone with the following skills and attributes:

  • High level demonstrated knowledge of and experience in engineering management, project management principles and successfully delivering maintenance facility or depot projects with complex interfaces and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience in transport operations and substantial knowledge of the constraints and challenges of rolling stock maintenance and operations in a highly sensitive, high risk and complex transport network.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in risk and issues management including the preparation of risk assessments, ability to facilitate workshops.
  • Possess a high standard of interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve work objectives, with the ability to build and maintain strong and effective stakeholder relationships, while effectively negotiating highly sensitive topics.
