Exciting opportunity to take a leading role in the regional implementation of key components of the Taungurung Recognition and Settlement Agreement
The Traditional Owner Agreements Senior Project Officer takes a leading role in the regional implementation of key components of the Taungurung Recognition and Settlement Agreement. The position has a diverse work plan involving translating policy into tangible outcomes through relationship building, project delivery, systems development, and strategic planning.
This role requires strong relationship building capabilities to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external delivery partners such as Traditional Owner Corporations and Traditional Owner Land Management Boards, Parks Victoria, Department of Justice and Community Safety and Catchment Management Authorities.
Senior Project Officers key function is to understand the intent of the Taungurung Recognition and Settlement Agreement to enable development and delivery of work programs to meet key components of Recognition and Settlement Agreements. The Project officers work supports implementing both the Natural Resource Agreement, Land Use Activity Agreement and Land Agreement.

This is a fixed term position available until 31 December 2021.
