The Inspectorate is a branch within Industrial Relations Victoria which is part of the Department of Premier and Cabinet. The Inspectorate enforces Victorian employment laws covering child employment, long service leave, and independent contractors in the transport and forestry sectors.
From 1 July 2021, the Inspectorate will become an independent statutory authority under the Wage Theft Act 2020. From this date, wage theft will be a criminal offence in Victoria.
The Training Consultant will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including SMEs and project members, key to success are your interpersonal skills, detail focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement. You will hold cutting edge experience in designing and developing end to end learning including training needs analysis, facilitator guides, session plans and training evaluation along with creating training support materials (user guides, reference material, workbooks) to support face to face training, virtual classrooms and eLearning.
Reporting to the People/Change Lead this position is a member of the Wage Theft Establishment Project and performs all phases of learning including analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation to produce learner-centric training solutions and strong learning outcomes.
Note that the position will transfer to the Wage Inspectorate Victoria, independent statutory authority, upon commencement of the Wage Theft Act 2020 on 1 July 2021.
