Transaction Lead, Next Generation Ticketing

  • Annual Salary Range: $249,701 to $360,000 total remuneration package, per annum
  • Tenure: Fixed Term (12 months)
  • Employment Type:  Full Time
  • Usual Work Location: Melbourne CBD (flexibility may be available)

The Policy, Precincts and Innovation Group drives future transport opportunities, legislative and policy reform, and imbed a deep understanding of the user and innovative technology.


About the Opportunity

The Transaction Lead will be part of a dedicated project team within the Commercial Strategy division. The project team seeks to develop the strategy and implementation pathway for delivery of the state's next generation ticketing system and oversee transition to the implementation phase (which will be managed as a separate project).  

You'll lead a multidisciplinary project team to deliver a strategic procurement plan recommending an implementation pathway for government consideration of ticketing technologies, existing contractual arrangements, business case and potential procurement options.


About You

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading multidisciplinary teams to develop technical system requirements, commercial strategy, and procurement design for complex government technology projects, ideally in a public transport/ticketing setting.
