About the role

Pathology Transformation Project Director is an integral leadership role within the Pathology Reform Program at North East Pathology Network. Working closely with Executive Director- Pathology, LIS Project Director and other key stakeholders, the role is expected to deliver on a number of collaborative and transformational projects across the Network.  

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• In depth understanding of current healthcare eco-system and ideally pathology service provision


• Proven experience in stakeholder management and communication


• Experience in managing large multi-agency programs and projects


• Proven ability to manage and monitor resources

Desirable

• Comprehensive knowledge of pathology processes and best practice as applicable to large networks and wide geographical areas


• In depth understanding of pathology testing work flows and challenges


• Detailed understanding of testing supplier contracts and service negotiations


• Application of advanced technology and innovation in shaping the future of pathology service provision


• Workforce planning
