The incumbent will be required to provide valuation advice and undertake and manage complex, urgent, and sensitive valuations for a variety of valuations asset classes and purposes. Developing a working relationship with both internal and external stakeholders is essential.
The Group
The Land Services and First Peoples Group (LSFP Group) works across our department and with other government departments, with Traditional Owners and other external stakeholders (including peak bodies) and ministers to support the delivery of services and infrastructure that will help build thriving environments and communities across our state.
The Group is comprised of the Office of the Deputy Secretary, the First Peoples Self-Determination Division and Land Use Victoria.
The Division
The role of Land Use Victoria (LUV) is to provide innovative solutions for authoritative, comprehensive and easily accessible services in land administration, property information and facilitating the better use of government-owned land.
LUV provides secure and accurate registration services for property, plan and water share transactions and e-business solutions to drive efficiencies in the property and development industries. It also leads implementation of the Victorian Government Land Use policy to deliver greater value from government-owned land and works with agencies to ensure land is transacted in accordance with legislation, policy and probity standards.
