Interested in working closely with the Victorian Ombudsman herself, to provide authoritative, expert and high-level media, communications and issues management advice, for a public-facing organisation? 

The Victorian Ombudsman is seeking applications for the role of Head of Engagement, Education & Communications to lead a high-performing team.  

About the opportunity:  

As part of a dynamic VPS agency, the Head of Engagement, Education & Communications will effectively bring together the Communications and the Education teams. This role will have a particular focus on developing and delivering strategic communications, media and external stakeholder engagement programs, across the Victorian public sector to encourage best practice by public sector employees in dealings with the public.

Position details:

  • VPS 6.1 or VPS 6.2 (depending on experience)
  • 3 year fixed-term opportunity
  • $122,502 - $163,934 (depending on experience)
