About the role

The Surgical admissions at Box Hill are introducing 8 beds in a 24 hour care unit, providing day admissions, day recovery (Adult & Paediatric) and 24 hours overnight admissions. We are looking for a passionate ward clerk with sound interpersonal and communication skills to join our friendly team.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Computer competent with excellent working knowledge of Patient Management Systems


• Microsoft Word and Excel


• Advanced telephone skills and clerical skills


• Ability to provide quality customer service in a friendly and professional manner


• Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills


• Demonstrated organisation and time management skills


• To have an interest in working in a patient centred environment


• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team


• Demonstrated ability to work within deadlines


• High degree of flexibility
