About the role:

This is an exciting career opportunity for an individual to join IBAC's Communication Team as a Website Coordinator on a full-time, fixed term contract to 30 June 2022.

Reporting to the Team Leader - Communication, this role will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the IBAC website redevelopment project, under the supervision of the Senior Communications Officer (Digital)
  • Managing the project with the objective of delivering a fit-for-purpose, accessible and user-friendly new website for IBAC, working with a vendor and a range of internal stakeholders

This position requires a strong working knowledge of best-practice web development methodologies, including project planning, user-experience testing and design, website analytics, accessibility requirements and content review and migration.

Digital strategy and production skills such as content writing for the web, video script writing and storyboarding, and writing for and managing social media would also be an asset.

Duties include:

  • Provide advice to decision makers regarding digital strategies and approaches as it relates to the website, demonstrating sound judgement in a sensitive and complex environment.
  • Initiate and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and seek opportunities to engage stakeholders in the review and development of the website.
  • Coordinate project planning and development work in close consultation with the website design vendor, liaising with key internal stakeholders (business areas and SMEs) as required to keep the project on track, meet milestones and support delivery of fit-for-purpose content and functionality.
  • Proactively identify and find solutions for potential project challenges and delays.
  • Lead the development of a governance framework and efficient processes that help keep the website consistent, accurate and up-to-date.

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in using project management and content management systems.
  • Experience employing website design, user-experience and user-interface design methodologies and testing tools.
  • Collaborative team player with an agile and flexible 'can do' attitude.
  • High levels of creativity and innovation.
  • A tertiary qualification in project management, digital communications or a related discipline is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
