Manager - Western CPK Services 


The Western Central Production Kitchen was established in late 2020 to secure the supply of meals into the Metropolitan Public Health Sector. Western Health absorbed the Community Chef operation and now delivers high volumes of a range of products to Delivered Meals Programs (meals on wheels) and two major Public Health Networks.


This role will be pivotal in the future of the Western CPK as we continue to consolidate and build on the opportunities provided by Western Health's absorption of Community Chef.


To be successful in this role, you would bring:



  • Leadership experience in a production/manufacturing operation function

  • An ability to identify key stakeholders and establish mutually beneficial relationships

  • An ability to influence staff through intuitive communication skills

  • An ability to generate positive change through innovation

  • A passion for the restorative properties of good food and the ability it has to bring joy to a persons day


The CPK Manager is a member of the Senior Leadership Team of the Western Health Support Services Division and you will become part of an organisation undergoing significant growth. This is an excellent time to join and have an opportunity to significantly contribute to positively infuencing the future of food in healthcare as Western Health reorientates the former Community Chef facility to be an intergral component of Melbourne's Public Health System.
