Monash Health Work Experience 2021 Program

Monash Health Secondary School Work Experience Program provides students with an opportunity to gain an insight into the healthcare industry.

The program is offered to Secondary School students undertaking years 10 to 12, preparing them to enter the workforce. Students participating in the program are given the opportunity to spend one week only (five consecutive working days) within available departments to observe and participate in the daily activities of those departments.

Areas of Monash Health offering Work Experience program include:-

• Administration/Clerical;


• Allied Health (e.g. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy & Dietetics);


• Nursing & Midwifery;


• Pathology;


• Radiology & Imaging; and


• Volunteer Services.

Please note we are unable to allocate students to work directly with doctors or surgeons and in areas such as: Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Critical Care and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Operating Theatres and Procedural Suites and other Mental Health Care Services.
