We are looking for a Workplace Relations Advisor to provide employee and industrial relations guidance to our stakeholders!
About the branch:
The focus of the People and Culture Branch (P&C) is to develop and support a flexible, sustainable and equitable workforce management model, which is underpinned by the provision of appropriate, consistent and timely human resources services, processes. The People Services team provides advice, information and support to managers and employees that enable Parks Victoria to meet and exceed its workforce needs, aspiration and organisational wide workforce plans.
About the role and your responsibilities:
Under the direction of Workplace Relations Specialist, you will provide employee relations and industrial relations advice and supporting tools to the People and Culture team and their stakeholders. A key part of your role is to provide support for the Parks Victoria Enterprise Agreement negotiations including; document management, minute taking, issue tracking and resolution and researching tasks.
You will also support drafting the new Agreement and any proposed changes, developing documentation to engage in negotiations, assisting in any matters arising before the Fair Work Commission, creating documentation for briefings, and finalising and assisting in the submission of the proposed agreement at end of negotiations. You will also play a key role in the implementation of the new Enterprise Agreement once approved.
As the Workplace Relations Advisor, you will need to ensure consistent interpretation and application of the applicable industrial instruments. It is a key contact point for managing the logistics of the Consultative Committee and the enterprise agreement negotiations and implementation.
