About the roles
We're looking for people who want to help protect Victorian communities and the environment from bushfires.
Positions are based in over 80 work centres across Victoria. So, whether you're after a sea change, tree change or a fulfilling job in your local community, there's a position waiting for you.
Successful applicants will get formal training and work with our permanent firefighters to support land management and emergency response.
Available roles
Applications are now open for:
- Project firefighters, including designated roles for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants
- Rappel crew (specialised positions)
- Fire support officers (administrative positions).
