About the program
Applications for the 2025 Victorian Government graduate program are now open.
Depending on your skills and study background, you can apply through 1 of 4 streams:
- generalist stream
- accounting and finance stream
- data analytics stream
- economic consultancy stream.
If you’re an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicant or an applicant with disability, then check out our pathways you can opt into.
Who can apply
Applications are open to people with an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or a minimum of a level 7 on the Australian Qualifications Framework. You don’t need any previous work experience in a similar role to apply, all training is provided.
When you apply, you must:
- have completed your undergraduate or postgraduate degree or the same as level 7 and above of the Australian Qualifications Framework between 1 January 2022 and 1 January 2025
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident
- not be on a temporary graduate visa
- have not taken a voluntary redundancy from the Victorian public sector in the 3 years prior to 3 February 2025.
