Your Opportunity:
The Royal Melbourne Hospital offer a limited number of General Surgery Unaccredited Registrar positions to doctors who are seeking to gain experience as an unaccredited registrar within general surgery. These positions provide valuable surgical experience and patient management opportunities, ideal for candidates who are applying to surgical training programs.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to rotate through the registrar rotations listed below. Positions are based at Royal Melbourne Hospital unless otherwise noted:
All of our offers of employment will be 12 months in duration. Depending on your level of experience and ability, we offer either a full 12 months as an Unaccredited Registrar or 6 months in surgical HMO rotations, and 2 rotations (minimum) in Unaccredited Registrar rotations.
