Eastern Health’s Mental Health Program is a leader in care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of whole-of-life mental health treatment and support to people living in Melbourne’s eastern region, including community-based services, inpatient, and in-reach support.

About the Role

Following significant investment across the whole of the mental health sector precipitated by the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health Services, the Mental Health Program is undergoing a major transformation, developing new models of care and expanding the way we work to better support our community. As part of our transformation, we are expanding our administrative services team. We are currently seeking an experienced administration leader with the ability to manage and coordinate professional, high-quality service delivery from their team.

About you 

As an experienced administration leader, to be successful in this role you will possess:

• High level oral and written communication skills with a strong client/consumer focus


• Ability to champion and promote change with an emphasis on continuous improvement


• Excellent attention to detail


• Demonstrated capacity to rapidly understand newly presented information


• Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, tact and diplomacy when dealing with sensitive or confidential issues


• Motivated and enthusiastic with a positive attitude toward work and colleagues and,


• Demonstrated experience and proficiency with a wide-range of information technology systems and platforms, preferably within a healthcare setting.
