THE ROLE
This position will provide administrative support to the Director, Redress and Lived Experience to provide strategic leadership and oversight of key deliverables including implementation of the new Redress for Historical Institutional Abuse (Redress), and two components of the National Redress Scheme for people who have experienced institutional child sexual abuse (the National Scheme) and Civil Claims Restorative Engagement pilot.
Working in close collaboration with colleagues across the Unit, the Administrative Support role will require strategic thinking to support the development and implementation of a range of new processes and work across multiple small and larger projects simultaneously. An attention to detail and high level of proficiency across a range of departmental platforms, systems, and IT software is also required.
The position is responsible for working with a range of stakeholders, including other Victorian Government departments and jurisdictions, as well as people who have experienced institutional child abuse and neglect. It will require the ability to build, communicate with, and maintain sensitive relationships with all stakeholders.
