About the role

South West Healthcare's (SWH) Child Health & Development (CHAD) team is seeking a temporary part-time Allied Health clinician (Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist) for a Grade 3 role as Advanced Developmental Paediatric Practitioner. This role will see the successful clinician provide comprehensive assessment of community-based children (0-8yo) presenting with, or at risk of, mild-moderate developmental delays across all developmental domains (gross motor, fine motor, play, cognition, social, sensory, speech and language).

The successful applicant will complete advanced training and clinical competencies to allow the safe provision of basic interventions and advice to parents across multiple developmental domains.

for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.

This position is temporary 64 hours per fortnight until 30 June 2022 and permanent 32 hours per fortnight beyond that date.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Allied health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020, with the appropriate classification Occupational Therapist Grade 3, Speech Pathologist Grade 3 or Physiotherapist Grade 3.
