Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is seeking applications from physiotherapists to undertake this full time permanent role. This Grade 3 Physiotherapist will be responsible for the delivery of an Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist (AMP), primary contact physiotherapy service in the Emergency Department (E.D) at Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW).

The successful applicant will possess expert skills in assessment and management of orthopaedics and musculoskeletal conditions and advanced clinical reasoning . They will committed to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care and will be a leader in quality improvement and innovation. The AMP will also assist in providing clinical education, leadership and strategic direction in musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Northeast Health Wangaratta, including supporting the development of other Advanced Practice roles.

The successful applicant will form an integral part of our NHW Physiotherapy Team, which comprises 32 clinicians, across Grades 1-4 and covers a broad range of clinical expertise. We are committed to supporting the successful applicant continue to develop their career through mentoring, supervision and professional development.
