About Us

The Strategic Communication Branch, within the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS), delivers communication services on behalf of the department's business units to inform and educate the community and staff about departmental policies, programs and legislation.

About the Role

The Adviser, Digital Communication, will:

• produce high-quality content which will include video and graphic design, for publishing
• manage the development of digital products ensuring they meet business needs
• provide advice and liaise with business units and stakeholders to ensure best practice is maintained
• research and drive continuous improvement across the Strategic Communications Branch.

About You

The DJCS is looking for an enthusiastic and talented communications professional who will be responsible for developing and managing a wide variety of digital products for website, social media and community engagement channels.

You will:

• have demonstrated experience in hands-on content production and product development
• advanced understanding of best practice digital communication techniques
• have experience working in collaboration with subject matter experts to identify and produce digital solutions
• ideally have background developing solutions that are optimised for the Victorian public and our key stakeholders
• be a seasoned stakeholder engager and collaborator, working across varied stakeholders and clients to reach solutions.
