Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Officer, Permanent Part-time (Flexible 24 to 31 hours per week)

(Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identified position)

Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across 3 campuses in the northeast of Melbourne and state-wide. Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.

The AHLO is involved in developing and implementing several culturally responsive initiatives, improving access and availability to services, supporting and maintaining positive relationships with the community. This position will suit someone who has experience working in Aboriginal communities and experience in providing support and advocacy.
