About the role


An exciting opportunity exists for a recent graduate of Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Social Work to join the Early in Life Mental Health Service as the Allied Health Intern.


The position is a full-time fixed term contract (12 months) consisting of 2 rotations to inpatient, and community based programs. The position provides a supported introduction to working with young people 0-18 years with mental health needs. You will have a solid understanding of your discipline and be able to work autonomously and as an active participant of a multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality assessment and interventions. You will demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills, initiative and be able to actively develop your knowledge and skills.
