About the Role

 

Full Time Fixed Term until 8/07/2025

 

Working as a member of a small team, you will support development of the Departmental Performance Statement by contributing to analysis, reports and briefings on output performance measures, targets and results. You will also assist with preparation of the Department’s responses to questionnaires issued by the Parliamentary Accounts and Estimates Committee and undertake other initiatives to support the Portfolio Management Office, Investment and Technology Group and throughout the wider Department to achieve key reporting deliverables.

Position Outcomes / Accountabilities 

 

• Collect, collate and analyse data and information relating to:
  o the Departmental Performance Statement
  o to support Public Accounts and Estimates Committee hearings on performance outcomes and budget estimates
  o central agency, ministerial and departmental executive investment and delivery tracking.
  o the non-financial performance section of the DTP Annual Report to report departmental achievements and the department’s output performance report.
• Contribute to preparation of reports, presentations and briefs that are timely, accurate and high-quality
• Support the development and maintenance of datasets, systems, tools and administrative processes used within the team
• Liaise with stakeholders across the Department, its portfolio agencies, and central agencies, as required
• Contribute to other projects and initiatives to support the broader work of the Branch the Group
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team environment

 

Qualifications and Experience


Desirable

A relevant tertiary degree would be well regarded.
