Western Health is amalgamating with the Bacchus Marsh and Melton sites (previously under Djerriwarrh Health) and as a result, we have an entirely new portfolio of facilities. This newly available role in Engineering Services is created - now including the Sunbury Day Hospital into the Bacchus Marsh and Melton portfolio – a brand new portfolio for the Engineering Services.


This group of health services facilities is undergoing an exciting and tremendous program of capital works and investment over the next period – nearly every system and service is being upgraded – electrical, HVAC, hydraulics, you name it. In addition, the Sunbury site is expanding, with new facilities under development.


We are looking for a strong, clear-thinking, capable Assistant Facilities Manager Team Lead who can hit the ground running amidst a bust program of projects. You will part of the western region Engineering Services team. Supported by a vibrant and welcoming leadership team, you will help shape the success of the rapidly growing Support Services Division in Western Health.


Effective stakeholder communication, the ability to know when and how to escalate, productive problem-solving, and the ability to maintain multiple activities concurrently will be key to your success in this role.
