The Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine (VIFM) provides the justice system with the crucial evidence that underpins safe convictions and appropriate acquittals. About the Role:
As the Assistant Manager Forensic Facilities, you will oversee the daily management of contractors and the coordination of repairs, maintenance, and safety protocols. You will work closely with the Forensic Facilities Manager to manage preventative maintenance schedules for HVAC systems, security, automation, and the emergency response systems. This role also supports the Purchasing and Supplies team, ensuring efficient ordering, storage, and distribution of essential goods.
This position includes participation in an on-call roster, including night and weekend shifts, providing an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your commitment and problem-solving skills.
