What you will be doing

Reporting directly to the Design and Production Coordinator, this entry-level role will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the design and delivery of high-quality printed and digital products and materials that support election services, including:
    • Ballot papers and materials
    • Electoral forms
    • Instructional documents used by election staff
    • Reports and plans
  • Assisting with design research and analysis to improve the usability of products.
  • Providing general assistance to the Design and Production team.

  • Advanced theoretical knowledge and technical skills within a relevant area of design, such as visual communication or graphic design
  • Exceptional attention to detail and written communication skills
  • Highly developed conceptual, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Commitment to the VEC's core vales
