About the role

As an Associate Midwife Manager, you will be In Charge of Birthing Suite + Postnatal Ward shifts. You will work a rotating roster which will include morning, afternoon and night shifts. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe care is provided to our labouring and birthing families. The role of Associate Midwife Manager requires taking on a portfolio and mentoring a group of staff. Close liaison with the Unit Manager will also be required.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Current Level 3 FSEP


• Current Midwifery registration with AHPRA


• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience


• A strong commitment to high quality care


• The ability to work as part of a diverse team


• Excellent communication and organisational skills
