About Ward H at Casey


Monash Health is excited to announce an Associate Nurse Manager position at Casey hospital ward H.  Ward H provides Subacute services for 30 patients within our Rehabilitation and Geriatric Evaluation and Management Unit.  We work closely with the interdisciplinary team to assess, educate and improve the physical and emotional wellbeing of our patients and their families.  It is a diverse and exciting area to work, and this combined with your passion towards working in Rehabilitation, is the perfect opportunity to develop in your leadership role.


About The RoleI


In this leadership role you will work closely with the Nurse Manager to ensure the provision of safe and effective care as well as assist with the efficient management of Ward H.  No two days will be the same as you work within an established, friendly and supportive team environment, working together to care for patients along with providing opportunities for staff development and growth in areas that staff are passionate about.


About You


You have been developing your management and leadership skills or you are an accomplished Associate Nurse Manager; either way, you are ready to take this next step in your career. You lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to all patients. Your strong clinical skills will be regularly demonstrated as you undertake complex discharge planning.  As a key member of the nursing leadership team, we welcome your input, and value your ideas and fresh eyes to help us be our best.

What You Need



  • Current experience within an Acute or Subacute unit

  • Previous clinical leadership exposure running a unit in an Associate Nurse Manager capacity

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Relevant working rights/visa

  • Employee level Working with Children Check

  • Evidence of a COVID-19 vaccination
