Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Reconstructive Plastics and Trauma Ward

About us:



The Royal Melbourne Hospital has an ongoing Associate Nurse Unit Manager opportunity.  7 South East is a high acuity surgical ward caring for complex plastics and trauma patients as well as head and neck oncology.  We are seeking a team orientated nurse with surgical experience to be part of our team, to provide clinical excellence and great patient care.



About you:



  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure evidence based best practice and contemporary models of care

  • Demonstrate expert clinical knowledge and skills whilst assuming a prominent management focus

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities

  • Set a high standard of clinical care

  • Have a strong focus on discharge planning, access and flow

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Registered nurse with at least 4 years post registration experience

  • At least 12 months experience in the speciality of reconstructive plastic surgery, head and neck oncology or trauma nursing (or similar)
