About the role

Ward 7.2 is a dynamic department within an organisation strongly aligned with the values of respect, humility, agility, kindness, excellence and the patient first experience. We are a 32 bed ward that provides pre and post-operative care for Colorectal, Upper GI, General Surgical patients and Gastroenterology medicine.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. The position available is a part time basis 64hr per FN as an ongoing contract. On Ward 7.2 we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver a strong level of support, roster flexibility, a structured and supportive orientation and great learning opportunities.

About you 

To be successful in this role you should possess:

• Current registration with AHPRA


• High level of computer literacy


• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills


• A strong commitment to high quality care


• The ability to work as part of a diverse team


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• Ability to work a full rotating roster (all shifts)
