An exciting opportunity exists for highly experienced Registered Nurses with excellent leadership skills to join BRHS Medical/Palliative/Paediatric ward in an ongoing contract and gain valuable management experience. The Contract: Ongoing, Part- Time 48.0 hours per fortnight.

The Position:

As an ANUM in our Rotamah Ward you are an integral member of the team providing effective leadership and clinical expertise to team members and ensuring excellence in nursing care. You will support the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure best practice clinical care is delivered and provide coordination and management of the patient care on each shift with the direction of the NUM. This role required you to act as the nurse in charge outside business hours in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager.

Key criteria required:

• Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse
• A minimum of two years recent clinical experience in paediatric nursing
• Experience in team leadership and care co-ordination
• Well-developed high acuity nursing skills with a good understanding of and commitment to providing patient centred care.
• Advanced clinical assessment and care planning skills including a good understanding of principles of escalation of care.
