Administration Assistant - Casual

Classification: Administration Assistant Grade 1A or 1 (HS1A or HS1) dependent on experience

Award: Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2016 – 2020

A fantastic opportunity exists within MDHS for a flexible, motivated and customer focussed individual to join the Administration team on a casual basis.

In this varied and dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and outstanding administration support to a range of departments across MDHS including General Administration and Main Reception, Community Services, Medical Imaging, Acute Services, Residential Aged Care, Health Information and the Centre of Inspired Learning.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualifications / Experience

  1. Demonstrated experience in the provision of effective, efficient and confidential clerical administrative support.

Specialist Expertise

  1. High level of competency in all Microsoft Office Suite Programs
  2. Demonstrated excellent telephone skills with an excellent customer service focus
  3. Demonstrated ability to initiate review of systems and procedures as applicable
  4. Sound understanding of the importance of confidentiality and proven discretion in the handling of sensitive and confidential matters.
  5. Ability to prioritise work effectively in an environment with multiple demands.

Personal Qualities

  1. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Strong organisational and planning skills with a keen eye for detail.
  4. Committed, motivated, flexible and enthusiastic approach with availabilities from Monday's – Saturday's.
