An exciting opportunity currently exists for enthusiastic and experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPN 3), Social Workers (SW2) or Occupational Therapists (OT2) to join our Crisis Assessment and Treatment service on a permanent full time/ part time basis.  Our service is an intergrated component of the Austin Health's Mental Health Division and pride ourselves on being consumer recovery focused.  The NECAT service and its subprograms (Triage, Emergency department and PACER) provide highly skilled clinical assessment and treatment options and work closely with local service providers and other specialist mental health services.


This is an interesting and varied position offering a unique opportunity to utilise your assessment and brief crisis intervention skills, provide specialist secondary consultations, network with stakeholders and carers and provides opportunity for clinical leadership, support and oversight of delegated duties to members of the team.


Requried skill set and qualifications include current registration with AHPRA or relevant governing body with experience in mental health, engaging in mental health/ risk assessment and management, well developed communication, networking and interpersonal skills.
