About the role

We are seeking applications from motivated individuals to join our dedicated Emergency Department - Horsham. This casual position is available for an immediate start and includes working a rotating 7 day, 24 hour roster, working AM, PM and night shifts as requested. This role involves providing administration & clerical support, including telephone & patient / family enquiries, records management, data collection and entry and related secretarial support.

Skills and experience

Essential:

  • Proven ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, confidential records
  • Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and iPM
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Certificate III Business Administration
  • Previous experience in a health care environment
  • An understanding of medical terminology
