Part Time 12 months Fixed Term -Leave Cover commencing 1st August 2024

If you are excited by the opportunity to work in a new service and use your aged mental health experience and skills to optimise the health and wellbeing of the older adult consumers in the north, now is the time to join our service.
As a Grade 2 Psychologist/Key Clinician, you will provide assessment, treatment, co-ordination of care and discharge planning for older persons with mental health issues, frailty and/or co morbidities, who reside in their own homes (including RACFs) in the Northern region of Melbourne. About SOACS:
The Specialist Older Adults Consultation Service commenced on 1 July 2023. The Specialist Older Adults Consultation Service is a multidisciplinary specialist team that will provide assessment, treatment and episodic rapid response for older adult consumers with a mental health diagnosis and frailty/complex comorbidities. The service will provide place-based care at the level and timeliness of service appropriate to the acuity of the consumer's health condition. Within the service, there will be a team providing services to consumers residing in Residential Aged Care facilities.
