About the facility - Andrew Love Centre
The Andrew Love Cancer Centre (ALCC) is a comprehensive cancer centre that provides expert care to those affected by cancer in Geelong and southwest Victoria.
Based in Geelong, we have state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and highly skilled health professionals who provide personalised treatment and care. Chemotherapy, haematology and radiotherapy services are provided at the Andrew Love Cancer Centre and inpatient services are provided in Baxter Wing 6 at University Hospital Geelong.
About the role
As the Grade 4 Radiation Therapist Clinical Educator, you will be required to lead the education unit and exhibit clinical expertise in the treatment and planning of consumers of radiotherapy services with demonstrated skills in provision of quality clinical supervision and teaching to Radiation Therapy learners and staff.
Duties of your role include, but not limited to:
- Demonstrate advanced technical expertise which significantly benefits consumer care
- Liaise with the management and education unit and coordinate the ALCC RT Education teams’ responsibilities
- Demonstrate ability to assist managers with the roll out and training of clinical projects
