What You Will Be Doing

You will be the Clinical Lead Children’s Physiotherapist- Community Health, contributing leadership to the health network’s Children’s Physio stream, the multidiscipline paediatric leadership group and to the much in-demand service offered by the physiotherapy clinicians. You will deliver best practice clinical care to children across the Peninsula Health catchment that is family-sensitive and child-centred. Your commitment to the social model of health will inform your approach, the range of interventions and the direction you set for the service. You will contribute to an enthusiastic, committed and inclusive multidisciplinary team of peers and managers that together lead the Community Health Children’s Services.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Current and maintained registration with AHPRA
• Excellent Children’s Physiotherapy clinical skills and knowledge
• Extensive clinical experience in child development delay physiotherapy
• Established skills and commitment to working in child-centred and family-focused practices including skills in working with vulnerable and disadvantaged families
• High level leadership skills
• High level clinical supervision skills
