A Certified Clinical Perfusion is required to join a clinically dynamic team in the areas of Cardiac Surgery, Liver Perfusion, ECMO


and related perfusion services: [Specialised Aortic surgery perfusion, various modalities of myocardial preservation, IABP,


Centrifugal pumps, Cell Saving, renal protection strategies]


The position is based in the Operating Suite at the Austin Hospital Campus

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Clinical Perfusionist to join our Division of Surgery and Procedural Medicine.


Details of position/position requirements


As an accredited Clinical Perfusionist you will be providing a full range of Perfusion Services incorporating:


Heart Lung Machines



  • ECMO/ECLS

  • Intra-aortic

  • Balloon pumps

  • Cell Saving



To be successful in this role you must demonstrate:





  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Science

  • Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Perfusion awarded by the Austalasian Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion

  • Hold current membership to the Australian and New Zealand College of Perfusionists

  • Extensive experience as a Clinical Perfusionist
