About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and skilled clinical psychologist to fill this varied role in providing a service to subacute patients at Angliss. Clinical work involves providing specialist clinical psychological services to patients within subacute rehabilitation and the geriatric evaluation and management program.
Applicants should preferably have experience in the management of depression, anxiety, grief, bereavement, and coping and adjustment issues with inpatients. Experience in working with co-morbid issues and more serious mental health presentations would be valuable.
Clinical psychologists with at least five years postgraduate clinical experience preferably in an inpatient setting are encouraged to apply. The position would suit a clinical psychologist who has worked in a medical rehabilitation program (inpatient or outpatient).

 The position requires a dynamic clinical psychologist who can work both independently and as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team. This position requires collaboration with clinical neuropsychology and other allied health staff as part of the provision of psychological services. Secondary consultation is a key aspect of this position as is supervision of more junior staff or students.
