Position Title: Clinical Services Ward Clerk

Classification: HS2

Salary per hour:  $33.78 per hour + superannuation + generous salary packaging options

Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 48 hours per fortnight

Award: Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025

 

Role description

The Clinical Services Ward Clerk provides professional support to Dhelkaya Health's Geroe Acute (including Maternity), Connolly Sub-acute and Theatre units, as dictated by demand. The position is responsible for performing a range of customer service, administrative and admission duties with efficiency, thereby contributing to the smooth operation of patient/client related services. The position will be responsible for coordinating leave and covering ward clerk gaps on the three wards as required.

 

About you

Desirable: 

  • Formal qualification in Business/Administration
  • Certificate in Medical Terminology
  • Previous experience with iPM patient administrative system.
