Job Description
Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
The primary role of Clinical Support Staff is to work within the AHPRA Competency and/or Professional Practice Standards relevant to the individuals Discipline /Scope of Practice, Code of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct in order to:
- Effectively coach and support the learning and development of clinical staff and students in evidenced based practice.
- Support the transition to practice of graduate staff
- Facilitation of the learning, education and assessment of students as per relevant curriculum of both under graduate and post graduate students.
Clinical Support Staff work collaboratively with Department Managers and Clinical Educator staff to respond to the professional development, training and clinical assessment of health professional learners in clinical settings.
