Your new role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a communication all-rounder to join our Communication team on a full-time, ongoing basis. Working as part of a multidisciplined team, and reporting to the Manager - Communication, the Communication Advisor will work across the business to support the development of prevention and education products for stakeholders and the community.

Duties include:

  • Support the design, implementation and evaluation of effective communications to support such work as the quarterly newsletter, investigative report support materials and a broad range of other activities.
  • Work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure the delivery of clear, concise and accessible communication services and products.
  • Identify proactive communication opportunities that promote IBAC's role to build a corruption-resistant Victoria.
  • Develop and maintain productive and professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and service providers.
  • Support the delivery of communication strategies and associated support materials using a well-developed understanding of strategic communications.
  • Support internal communication at IBAC through the use of videos, intranet content and other digital materials.

Our requirements / Your skill set

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:

  • A tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, journalism or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to write content for high quality communication materials.
  • Demonstrated work experience in communications, marketing, media or related field.

Due to the requirement to attain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance candidates must be an Australian citizen at the time of application.
