Community Clinician - Wonthaggi Community Mental Health Team


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and suitably qualified Community Clinician to join the Wonthaggi Community Mental Health Team on Casual/Part time/Full time basis.


Reporting to the Team Manager the successful applicant will play an important role in clinical assessment, care planning and treatment including the provision of a comprehensive assessment of needs for referred clients, their family, and carer's, and to develop and deliver therapeutic interventions, and coordinate care.


We employ Recovery Team, Acute Care and Intervention Service and Mental Health and Police Response clinicians.


To be successful in this position you   will need to have:
  • Registered Nurse Division 1* or 3. OR
  • Degree or Diploma of a recognised school of Occupational Therapy or to be   eligible to be a member of the Victorian Association of Occupational   Therapists. OR
  • Full General registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of   Australia (this does not include “provisional” registration) OR
  • Degree or Diploma in Social Work eligibility or other qualification   acceptable for membership to AASW.
  • Current Victorian Driver’s License and be prepared to undertake a National   Police Check
  • Current Working with Children’s Check
  • Computer literacy skills
