  • PTA 4 $89, 586 pa (plus 11% superannuation) & vehicle supplied for travel

    About the Role:

    The Community Engagement Coordinator facilitates communication, collaboration with stakeholders and oversees programs for community engagement, education and service delivery. The Coordinator brings significant project coordination capability and provides expert advice and guidance in the analysis and assessment of community risks, vulnerability and makes recommendations for improvement on programs and services.

    At the heart of our team the Community Engagement Coordinator supports volunteers to engage with their communities around fire risk reduction activities as a part of the regional and district service delivery plans for community safety, while also supervising the assessment, enhancement and reporting of education and engagement initiatives.

    About You

    Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

    • A tertiary qualification in social science, management and/or education and training or relevant industry experience.
    • Demonstrated experience in program coordination and project management
    • Well-developed analytical skills.
    • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions.
    • Well-developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet tight work demands.
    • Ability to build working relationships and liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to lead, mentor and develop casual and volunteer members.
