Corporate Support Officer

  • $72,751 - $80,545 (plus superannuation)

The Team

The position of Corporate Support Officer forms a part of the Information Services Branch within the Corporate Services Group.

Corporate Services actively supports Ministers and DJPR portfolio groups to create the conditions for sustainable economic development and employment growth. The Group works collaboratively to deliver integrated and operational functions across the department, leading the development of governance, people, culture, systems, and capability.

Information Services (IS) oversees the delivery of ICT-related investments and services to DJPR. IS engages with the organisation to ensure ICT systems and services are appropriately designed, governed, and delivered. IS offers a range of end-user focused systems and services to the organisation both directly and through third-party providers and provides governance and assurance for systems and services delivered by other groups and agencies within.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Officer, Corporate Support Team, the Corporate Support Officer will provide high level customer service for queries in relation to various operational corporate services by way of a common phone and ticketing platform aimed at customers who are unsure who to contact.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Provide high quality customer end-to-end services to ensure the successful delivery of the corporate service functions
  • Customer support for access to, and use of business systems and processes, for the transition to new Departments for staff coming in and out of the DJPR
  • Deliver and contribute to streams of work including electronic document workflows, phone queries, Corporate Connect, and face-to-face
  • Ensure business process procedures are documented, maintained and shared among team members  
  • Staff rosters, training and information sessions including contributing to team, and division meetings and forums, and the provision of data as required for the monthly service performance reports
