POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you looking for a career in information security? The Cyber Security Unit is based within the Business Technology & Information Management Branch, Corporate Services Division and has an opportunity for an exceptionally skilled Information Security Program Manager to join our team.

The Cyber Security Program Manager role will report to the Chief Information Security Officer and will be responsible for oversight and management of a portfolio of various sized information security projects, as defined in the DH Cyber Security Strategy and identified though Victorian Protective Data Security Standard attestation.  The role will be responsible for ensuring that the identified projects are established and executed to deliver optimal outcomes in line with the DH Cyber Security Strategy.

The Program Manager will ensure that project managers and SMEs have the necessary support to enable projects to be delivered on time, on budget and with quality outcomes. The role will provide the CISO with assurance that projects are executing to plan, otherwise escalating issues impacting project performance so that necessary interventions can be determined.

Given the nature of the role, experience and knowledge of the domains of information security will be highly beneficial, including experience as a program or project manager of information security projects.
