Data Analytics and reporting Manager- Safety and Quality

  • $83,657.60 pa (paid pro rata for part time)

About the role

Eastern Health has an exciting ongoing full time position available for someone who is motivated and has expertise in data analytics and reporting. The Safety and Quality Data Analytics and Reporting Manager will;

  • Develop systems and processes to streamline timely access to safety and quality data and reports at all levels of the organisation.   
  • Develop systems and processes to support staff access to benchmarked reports and data required for analysis and review. This include review and alignment of data definitions between internal and various external sources. 
  • Work across the organisation to support the establishment of data sources for Appropriate and effective care score card measures. 
  • Develop and review key internal and external assurance measures against legislation, regulation and standards related to clinical governance policy and establish collection, collation and reporting of these requirements.
  • Strategic review and analysis of existing and new reporting requirements for Eastern Health to meet clinical governance obligations
  • Ensure key suites of reports for the Clinical Governance committees are validated and data sources established

The successful applicant will work closely with decision support and clinical leaders throughout Eastern Health to establish robust systems and processes for safety and quality data and reporting.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Relevant qualification/ and advanced skills in data analytics
  • Methodical and diligent with data and information management , in particular ability to understand and analyse safety and quality data
  • Experience in compliance management or quality assurance of organisational performance, legislation and policies and procedures
  • Ability to understand complex information systems and how they interact with reporting systems to improve performance
  • Commitment to excellence, innovation and continuous improvement
  • Commitment to utilising new approaches, technologies and environments
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to:
    • Consult and collaborate with others and work as an effective team member to deliver organisational outcomes
    • Work at both strategic and operational levels within a complex organisation
  • Demonstrated capacity to ‘live’ the Eastern Health Values
