About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Information and Data Manager, the Analyst, Data Management is a member of a team responsible for the implementation and support of organisation wide information and data management capabilities. As a member of broader Data Strategy, Management and Transformation team, you will deliver high-quality information and data management services and support, aligned to EPA’s strategic priorities, to prevent harm to Victorian communities and the environment from pollution and waste. This is an exciting role for an experienced information and data management professional who wants to contribute to the success of the EPA as it enters a new era of environmental protection in Victoria. You will actively contribute to a positive organisational culture and ensure you achieve the highest standards of performance and integrity; and foster genuine partnerships across all levels of government, industry, and community to support the delivery organisational outcomes.
In this role you will:
Act as an administrative support for EPA’s Information Protection Agreement (IPA) with external agencies, as guided by the Senior Information and Data Manager.
Take a leading role in developing and maintaining EPA’s Business Classification Scheme, its Enterprise Taxonomy, Data Dictionary, Data Catalogue and other information and data management metadata schema.
